Anna Niedzwiecka

Anna was born in Wroclaw, Poland, but grew up in Montreal. She joined the Ling group in 2017 as an undergraduate summer student, and decicided to pursue her graduate studies in the group in May 2018. She is currently working on synthesiszing bacterial nonulosonic carbohydrates, such as pseudaminic and legionaminic acids for antibacterial vaccine research. When she is not in the lab, Anna likes to spend her time conquering new summits in the Rockies, with her dog Meadow at her side.
